About mE

Watch my short channel trailer below to to learn more about me!

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area in a family that spent weekends hiking, swimming, and enjoying picnics on mountainsides, my love of the outdoors and adventure began young. Always creative, some of my favorite childhood pastimes were rearranging my bedroom furniture in every way possible, creating artwork on KidPix 1.0, and having lemonade/smoothie stands.

While graphic design was my passion in high school, when it came time for college I decided to see what else was out there. I ended up majoring in political science and minoring in history from the University of Washington - a degree that helped me gain a better understanding of the world and furthered my interest in exploring it.

After college I moved to LA where I did a little bit of everything - from interning at nonprofits to doing errands for big shot producers to working with fashion bloggers to being an administrative assistant for the City of Santa Monica. While I loved living by the beach under the constant sunshine, I wanted to grow and experience new things.

In 2013 I moved to New York City, where I became inspired to pursue my passions for design and wanderlust. I lived in Brooklyn for two years, creating chalkboard art and travel content, while bartending and exploring all that NYC had to offer. In Autumn 2015, my ever-growing sense of wanderlust took over, I sold all of my stuff, left the city, and am now living and traveling all over the world. You can follow along with my adventures on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

Cheers,

Mari
